The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that Jason Watt — an owner of 22355 Collington Drive — held a party that more than 300 juveniles attended. Watt allegedly permitted the teens to drink. Shannon Watt is listed as a co-owner of the property.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the incident report filed by police who responded to the scene. We are publishing the entry in its entirety. We have not edited this entry:
“Upon arrival to the area, deputies observed approximately 300+ juveniles walking through the roadways overtaking several different lawns throughout the neighborhood. I attempted to make my way to the residence however the roadway was completely blocks and emergency vehicles were not able to pass. Once I arrived to the above-listed address and observed more juveniles exiting the residence. I made contact with a gentleman working security at the front door. I requested to speak with the homeowner in which Jason Watt exited the residence. Watt expressed that the party was over. Watt continued to explain that the party was intended to only be for West Boca High School students before it got over ran by other juveniles. While on scene, PBSO communications began getting calls from residences of juveniles leaving the party were causing a disturbance throughout the neighborhood and damaging mailboxes.
Based on the aforementioned facts, probable cause exists to charge the defendant with FSS 856.015(2) – ALLOW MINOR ALCOHOL DRUG OPEN HOUSE PARTY.”
Watt was not arrested at the scene. We are awaiting comment from the office of State Attorney Alexcia Cox.
Information posted to social media and tips shared with BocaNewsNow.com allege that juveniles were charged a fee to enter the party and permitted to bring their own alcohol. The juveniles were apparently seen throwing up in the Boca Winds neighborhood as they moved en masse through the community.

The grammar and syntax of the this piece is poor. Someone didn’t pass high school English, it seems.
We do not edit official police filings, as stated in the article.
We have so many other things to worry about other than children and drinking in someone’s home this has been going on for 90 years and it didn’t make the news. You have real criminals out there maybe you should focus on that
Stella: It’s not Junior sneaking a beer. It’s 100+ underage drinkers at someone’s home. I am not sure where or how you grew up, but that’s not normal, especially having those underage and new drivers heading home drunk.
Stella you can not be serious, – They documented over 300 underage drinkers. First off if any of those kids drove and got in an accident or worse fatality who is responsible the homeowner. My God lady wake up. I’m sure if it happened in your neighborhood you would not be too pleased.
If a party with 300+ juveniles, many of which are drunk, ever happens in your neighborhood and they damage/destroy any of your property, don’t call the cops then
That’s the law in many states now. The homeowner has an affirmative obligation under Social Host Liability if they permitted or provided alcohol. Liability can be civil or criminal or both. There’s no more turning a blind eye to underage drinking in one’s home.
Who does this homeowner know for him not to be arrested on the spot??
Not so worried about a house party that accidentally got out of hand, over the drunken juveniles bothering the neighbors, trespassing, puking on their lawns and destroying property. Those kids should be arrested.
Why wasn’t the homeowner arrested on the spot? Really??
