After Four Years In Prison, Richard Nemeth Allegedly Violates Probation While Living In Boca Airport Motel.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man who served four years in prison for vehicular homicide after killing a woman on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach is back in the Palm Beach County Jail. Richard Nemeth, currently living in the Fairfield Inn by the Boca Raton Airport, allegedly violated his probation. He was booked into jail on Friday.
Nemeth, who was 55 and living in Kings Point back on March 18, 2018, slammed into Rique Nemeth on Atlantic Avenue near Lake Claire Road. Nemeth, according to police, was speeding at up to 90 mph in the moments before the crash. He later entered a guilty plea and served four years in prison. Nemeth was released last year and ordered to serve ten years of probation.
Although court records indicate that a deal was made for Nemeth to be allowed to serve probation out of state, he apparently has been living in the Fairfield Inn at 3400 Airport Road in Boca Raton. That’s where PBSO Deputies took him into custody early Friday for violating probation. The alleged probation violation wasn’t immediately clear, although court records show he’s had a history of issues with his mandatory “community control” device.
Nemeth, according to a crash report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, was speeding in his 2014 Kia Optima around 7 p.m. on March 4, 2018. Moments after his black box data recorder allegedly revealed speeds of more than 90 mph, he slammed into Rique Karmazin’s 2018 Honda CRV. She was 66-years-old and died at the scene.
Nemeth and his then girlfriend Cecilia Lehman told police that Nemeth was driving and the car was traveling no faster than 45 miles per hour when the crash took place. Police later determined that Nemeth was driving at excessive speeds and blew through a red light in the moments before the crash. Here is our original reporting on the crash.

What a creep. I thought he fled the country to Israel with his girlfriend Lehman.
