BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Three students at Eagles Landing Middle School in West Boca Raton took THC gummies Wednesday afternoon on the school grounds. At least two of the children — believed to be 13 years old — became so ill that they were transported by paramedics to West Boca Raton Medical Center.

It was not immediately clear how many gummies the kids took, the strength of the gummies, or where the gummies were obtained. Witnesses tell BocaNewsNow.com that police were seen with baggies, possibly containing the gummies, as the kids were being placed into an ambulance.

The Palm Beach County School District did not proactively issue a statement to BocaNewsNow.com. It was not immediately clear if the Palm Beach County School Police, PBSO, or both will be the investigating agency.

While apparently disoriented after ingesting the gummies, sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that the kids are expected to make a full recovery but will likely face suspension or expulsion as part of the Palm Beach County School District’s “Zero Tolerance” policy.
