David Robertson Is A Realtor. Was Originally Arrested For Allegedly Meeting Child Who Was Undercover Cop.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An area realtor accused of traveling to meet a child in Boynton Beach — only to find out that “child” was an undercover Boynton Beach cop — apparently just lost the $150,000 bond he posted for his freedom. David Robertson, who told police he lives in 17000 block of Monte Vista Drive, is back in jail Monday morning. He was first arrested — and released — back in January.
BocaNewsNow.com is awaiting the updated case file, but Palm Beach County jail records reveal that Robertson is now being held on a “bond surrender” charge. This typically means that the terms of someone’s release were violated. If true for Robertson, it’s unclear what term of his release he is accused of not following. He was initially ordered to stay in Palm Beach County after he posted bond on January 25th. Restrictions were also placed on his internet and technology use. But he requested a change to those terms so he could continue his work as a real estate agent.
Court records show that a plea hearing is set for later this year.
