FHP has issued this advisory:
Updated information on the shooting incident which occurred on September 8, 2020, in Delray Beach, FL. The name of the Florida Highway Patrol Trooper involved in the shooting is Trooper Horlkins Saget of Troop L, Palm Beach.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is the lead law enforcement agency responsible to independently investigate this incident, per established procedure.
As the investigation is still active, no additional information will be released at this time.
