BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County School District has recorded at least 148 COVID-19 cases in just 3 days, and 696 cases since school resumed on January 4th. The school district is now teetering on 2000 confirmed COVID-19 cases since some students returned to “brick and mortar” school in mid-September.

The total, as of early Thursday morning: 1,964 COVD cases. The split: 1,134 students and 830 employees have tested positive for COVID. We are aware of several cases that have been officially reported to parents but are not yet added to the school district’s list. We caution the following data is likely an undercount.
