BOCA RATON TEACHER NOW IN PALM BEACH COUNTY JAIL

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A teacher at Sandpiper Shores Elementary School in West Boca Raton is in the Palm Beach County Jail, charged with multiple counts of child pornography possession.
The affidavit of probable cause continues to be processed by the Clerk of Court’s office but multiple parents contacting BocaNewsNow.com identify Aleck Ford as a teacher at the elementary school. Jail records confirm the arrest.
According to the Palm Beach County Jail, Aleck Ford is charged with: “Obscene material possession (promoting) the depiction of child sexual conduct,” “Obscene material possession — possess 10 or more child pornography images (3rd degree felony offense), and “evidence destroying, alter, destroy, conceal, remove physical evidence.” The charging language is direct from the jail record, we expect the police report to be more specific.
Ford, of the 1600 block of NW 4th Avenue, was booked into the Palm Beach County jail at 10:11 Thursday morning. PBSO is the arresting agency.
There was no immediate comment from the Palm Beach County School District.
