BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Bridges resident allegedly crashed her car into another car on Lyons Road Sunday, just up the street from her community and directly in front of “The Bridges” and “Seven Bridges.” The woman then fled the scene but was stopped and later arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Evangelia DiDonato, 41, of the 17200 block of Carretto Court in Boca Raton, is now facing multiple charges. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Sunday evening and later released on her own recognizance Monday morning.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned from the Palm Beach County Jail that DiDonato is charged with “DUI — Unlawful Blood Alcohol — DUI Damage To Property or Person Of Another,” “Hit And Run, Leave Cene Of Crash Involving Damage To Property,” and “DUI — Unlawful Blood Alcohol — DUI Influence of Alcohol or Drugs.” While the arrest report continues to be processed early Tuesday morning, DiDonato allegedly refused to provide samples for a blood or breath test. Under Florida’s implied consent law, she’ll now likely lose her license for a year.

It was not immediately clear where Evangelia DiDonato was heading in her 2021 Black Cadillac SUV at the time of the crash. Public records show that her Boca Bridges home was purchased in October of 2022 for $3.5M.
