BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — You can get back in the water at South Inlet Park, Red Reef Park and Spanish River. The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County has lifted its bacteria advisory for all three Boca Raton beaches, just days after BocaNewsNow.com reported that health officials were warning swimmers to stay out.

The all-clear also covers Sandoway in Delray Beach, Lake Worth-Kreusler in Palm Beach, and DuBois Lagoon, Carlin Park and Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter. DuBois Park, which was on Tuesday’s original list of nine sites, is not named in the lifting notice.

Tests completed Wednesday, Oct. 21, show Enterococcus bacteria back at an acceptable level under state guidelines. The original advisory was issued after samples tested Monday, Oct. 19, came back above the recreational water quality standard.

Test results are posted at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches. For more information, call 561-671-4013 or visit PalmBeach.FloridaHealth.gov.
