BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says deputies “discharged their weapons” late Wednesday while dealing with a suicidal individual in West Boca Raton.

The incident happened in the Sandalfoot Square plaza at 23066 State Road 7. The condition of the person threatening suicide is unclear.

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw is expected to share details about what happened later Thursday morning.
