The mother of Kenneth Donahue, identified as Delia Donahue, is working with a company called TKO-Advisors in Coral Gables. The company’s website, which looks similar to websites generated by AI, says it’s a firm that deals with “threat and risk intelligence.” In the past 24 hours, a representative from the firm has sent multiple emails and messages to BocaNewsNow.com alleging that Kenneth Donahue was “murdered” and that the Boca Raton Police Department is negligent in its handling of the four-day old case. The emails link to a website titled “JusticeForKenny.com” which also looks to be AI generated. Among images of Kenneth on the website: the 18-year-old appearing to drink a glass of wine.

In an email sent to BocaNewsNow.com with the subject “Murder Of Kenneth Donahue,” Kenneth’s mother claims the driver of the vehicle that police say hit Kenneth has a criminal past, was seen drinking, was allowed to leave the scene, then allowed to access his vehicle in a secure facility because he has a relative that works in law enforcement in another county. She also alleges that Boca Raton Police did not generate a police report as part of an effort to make the case go away. There is no indication that any of this is true, aside from the driver being allowed to leave the scene since he was not in custody.

Neither the email nor the website answer the questions being asked by many: Why was Kenneth Donahue on the back of an e-bike driven by a 16-year-old near I-95 at 2 a.m? Does a motor vehicle driver have a reasonable expectation that an e-bike will be near his car on a constantly busy road in the middle of the night?

BocaNewsNow.com intended to ask Ms. Donahue these questions, and others, during a videotaped interview set for Thursday. However, after not showing up at the pre-arranged time, the TKO-Advisors representative told us that Ms. Donahue needed a list of questions that would be asked. We do not provide questions in advance of an interview.

Traffic Homicide Investigations (THI’s) traditionally take a year in the State of Florida, where law enforcement conducts a thorough review of everything involved in the incident. Arrests are rarely made at the scene and traditionally approved by prosecutors who review and affirm a case exists. A source tells BocaNewsNow.com that the Boca Raton Police Department is actively investigating this crash as a traffic homicide.

A criminal defense source tells us that Kenneth’s mother making unsubstantiated claims against the driver of the striking vehicle may taint a potential jury, should a criminal charge ultimately be filed. Kenneth’s death remains the subject of a “GoFundMe” campaign as we previously reported.
