BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — BocaNewsNow.com was made aware of a rumor early Wednesday afternoon that suggested a developing problem at Boca West. The rumor, inexplicably we believed, was being attributed to our reporting. Our only reporting on Boca West in the past 24 hours was a fire that apparently destroyed a home. Nothing COVID related.

With thanks to an eagle-eyed reader, it appears that an article we published in March of 2020 (completely accurate at the time) was transmitted this afternoon by one of our news distribution partners. It appears to be nothing more than a technical glitch. We have reached out to that partner. While the article remains on the BocaNewsNow.com website, it is correctly dated as March 15th, 2020 — not November 24, 2021. You will note our very old graphics scheme and references to events happening roughly 18 months ago.

If you ever have questions about a story attributed to us, please email news (at) BocaNewsNow.com, or call or text 866-4-FL-News. Tech issues absolutely happen — the Internet is not perfect. But we ask you, our readers, to reach out to us if something doesn’t seem quite right.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving at Boca West, or wherever you happen to celebrate.
