DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A popular Delray Beach restaurant was cited for multiple “high priority” violations during an inspection by Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Dada, at 52 North Swinton Avenue, was not ordered to close. The violations were resolved within days.

Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, the following is the unedited report filed by the DBPR inspector on February 28, 2023.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. At prep area right side flip top cooler-cut tomatoes (48°F – Cold Holding); hummus (50°F – Cold Holding); créme brûlée (50°F – Cold Holding). Operator stated being held overnight. See stop Sale. **Warning**

High Priority – Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse. Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. At prep area right side flip top cooler-cut tomatoes (48°F – Cold Holding); hummus (50°F – Cold Holding); créme brûlée (50°F – Cold Holding). Operator stated being held overnight. High Priority – Raw animal food stored over canned/bottled drinks. At upstairs low boy combo stainless reach in; raw pooled shell egg whites stored above unopened bottles of Yuzu. Operator moved egg whites to bottom shelf. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

Basic – Food stored on floor. At walk-in cooler; pans of raw chicken stored on floor. Operator removed from floor. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

No violations were found when the inspector returned the following day. Dada was not ordered to close.
