BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A quadruple shooting in North Broward County Monday evening left one teenager dead and three other people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com.
“At approximately 5 p.m., on Monday, March 25, Broward County Regional Communications received a shooting call near the 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Pompano Beach. BSO district deputies responded to the scene and located a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies immediately started life-saving measures.
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded, and transported the juvenile to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Three additional people were shot and are being treated at area hospitals. BSO Homicide Unit detectives responded and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
