BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re trying to pay a ticket, look up records, check your jury duty status, or do anything else that involves the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts, you’re out of luck as of Sunday afternoon. A massive power failure is apparently blocking access to all court and Clerk of Court functions in Palm Beach County.

Here is the official language released by the office of the Clerk of Courts: “Power Outage at County Data Center Impacting Clerk Systems: Official Records search, eCaseview court records search, traffic ticket payments, jury information and other online services are currently unavailable. Our services will be back online as soon as the county restores power to our systems.”

It was not immediately clear how this will impact court operations on Monday. As of Sunday afternoon, there has been no official announcement about court cancelations or delays. Check back for updates.

Potential jurors should have received a telephone number to call to check jury status. That number should still be in operation, even while the computer systems are down.
