DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A homeowner in the West Delray Beach community of Azura is in jail early Tuesday, facing a battery charge. Katheryn McDonough was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. She remained incarcerated as of 5 a.m. Tuesday.
While the arrest report continues to be processed before sunrise, jail records indicate that Ms. McDonough was taken into custody mid-day and booked into jail at 3:12 Monday afternoon.
It was not immediately clear who she is accused of battering, what specifically happened, or where the arrest was effectuated. The Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office, recovering from a major power outage that affected records access for a good portion of Monday, had not yet processed the affidavit of probable cause as of 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Ms. McDonough, 44, lists the 6400 block of Bellamalfi Street in Delray Beach as her home address. Azura is located on Jog Road, between Clint Moore and Atlantic.
