BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 92-year-old woman has died following a July 2nd crash in the area of SW 18th Street and Boca Pointe Drive. The death, which occurred on July 21st, was just reported by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
According to PBSO, Charlotte Rothfarb, 92, of La Mirada Drive in Boca Raton was a passenger in a 2013 Kia Soul that was heading eastbound and turned into the intersection as a Toyota RAV4 approached from the other direction. The Kia hit the Toyota with such force that the Toyota rolled over.
The driver of the Kia, and the driver of the Toyota, both sustained minor injuries. But Rothfarb — the passenger in the Kia — was rushed to Delray Medical Center in critical condition. She died nearly three weeks later.
No charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
